Long Distance Triathlon Package

The Human Performance Unit is offering 2 ‘Long Distance Triathlon’ (LDT) packages to ensure you achieve your race goal.

Take advantage of a support package unrivalled in the expertise, experience, equipment and detail in which you are provided with. A fully comprehensive package that delivers on a multitude of fronts well-beyond that available elsewhere. Benefit from world class support to guarantee you get across the finish line.

We leave no stone unturned in preparing you for your event, optimizing everything from your training, diet, race day nutrition, bike fit, weight management and laboratory testing with state of the art equipment.

 

Our LDT package includes the following;

 

1 x Long Distance Triathlon Training Plan
• Receive a fully periodised 9 month training plan to guide you up to race day based upon your current ability and target time.

2 x incremental bike and run tests (VO2max and Blood Lactate):
• Results dictate training intensities, physiological strengths and weaknesses and provide guidance on individualised training plans.
• Results include VO2max, cycling efficiency, running economy, threshold data and training zones based upon HR, power and running velocity.

1 x Sport nutrition consultation:
• Consultations based towards optimising recovery and maintaining training load, race day strategies and weight management.
• Each athlete is provided with individualised food plans and meal examples.

2 x Body composition assessments:
• Ensure you begin the race with an optimal physique. Improve your efficiency by ensuring you are not carrying excess weight that increases your energy demand.

1 x Retul bike fit:
• Dynamic 3D bike fit to improve performance and comfort – ensure you are setup for an triathlon event.

 

Also Included:

Access to additional material including audio presentations and useful guides into areas such as the psychological demands of IM, pacing strategies, dietary considerations for going long, effective use of equipment and transitions, functional strength training exercises, run drills and swim technique.
